I did this on facebook and I've been reminded that it has been a while since I posted a blog, so I've decided to post it here too. Sorry if you already know these things about me.
1. By the time I was seventeen I had had 4 surgeries, all within a two and a half year period; 3 surgeries for my feet and 1 to remove my wisdom teeth.
2. I absolutely can't stand it when people treat their dogs (other animals too) like people/children. They do not require clothing, strollers, heart transplants, or pictures with Santa.
3. I love the feeling after a really hard run. Like the nausea and the heavy breathing feelings, because it means I gave it my all and pushed myself. And it is soon replaced by the endorphin surge.
4. I know how to shoot a bow and arrow, turn wood on a lathe, cast bronze sculptures, fish, and lots of other crafty stuff because of my grandpa.
5. I used to wear flip-flops ALL the time. Even in the freezing weather. But my passion for pretty shoes has taken over and I've backed off my flip-flop wearing to the summer.
6. I have terrible hand/eye coordination. It's why I don't play team sports. But I love watching them.
7. If it was made in a perfume, I would probably wear the smell of bookstores. It's one of the best smells (in my opinion).
8. I'm a dog person more than a cat person. And I prefer big dogs over little ones. Someday, I would love to own a Great Dane.
9. I love commas. I tend to write like I talk, and if I think there should be a pause I put a comma in. I know it's wrong, so I started using no commas and got in trouble for that too. I've decided to go back to excessive comma use because it is more fun.
10. I'm not scared of a very many things. I like heights and I'm not bothered by snakes. But clowns are pretty freaky.
11. I talk and walk in my sleep. And I've spent the night at enough people's houses and gone on enough youth group trips that I hear about what I said or did in the morning.
12. When I was in middle school, I decided I wanted to be an environmentalist. I don't think I really knew what that meant, but it was a big word and it sounded cool. I even started a "Save the World" group among my cousins, and I was the president. It took about 2 meetings and I was impeached. (It was shortly after the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal and we heard that word a lot. I think only Trevor knew what it really meant.) It was end of the club and the desire to pursue that career. Shortly after, I decided I wanted to be a masseuse.
13. I have a life list. But it isn't written down anywhere. Once when I tried to write it down, there were 4 things on it. But really I want to do more than 4 things.
14. In nursing school, I've been taught all about health education and a healthy lifestyle. I eat a fair amount of junk food and don't get the recommended amount of vegetables/fruit in my diet, etc. I feel guilty and like a hypocrite about those things sometimes.
15. I hate seeing pictures of myself. I'm not photogenic and I wish that could be changed. Sadly, I don't think it is something you can buy at the store.
16. I give names to inanimate objects. (You know, like that one episode of Friends, where we find out that Joey's chair is named Rosita and it's Stevie the T.V....also one of my habits; to relate everything to Friends.)

Haha, these are great!!
I was totally reminded of our Save the World club just yesterday! And I'm pretty sure Trevor WAS the only one who knew what "impeached" meant. :)
Yay for FRIENDS! I love it!
